I’m a little late in sharing my favorite photos from 2014, but it was such a great year that I definitely wanted to share them with all of you! 2014 was my busiest year on record with 53 weddings! The year was made even busier with moving my family from Spring Hill to Brentwood right in the middle of wedding season.
I was privileged to photograph weddings and portrait shoots all around the country, including Florida, Ohio, San Diego, and New York City. But above all, I’m so thankful for all the amazing Nashville weddings I photographed at so many amazing venues. I photographed weddings at Mint Springs Farm, Belle Meade Plantation, The Bridge Building, Turkey Farm, Union Station Hotel, the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, The Hutton, Cannery One, Carnton Plantation, Houston Station, Front Porch Farms, Scarritt-Bennett Chapel, The Loveless Barn, War Memorial Auditorium, Vanderbilt Legends Club, Ruby, The Cordelle, The Country Music Hall of Fame, Cheekwood, two at the Nashville Zoo, and more of the best venues in Nashville including several churches, country clubs, and private residences. I loved photographing incredible weddings at so many beautiful venues, and am proud to say that many of the venues listed me on their preferred vendors list.
I want to thank all of my amazing couples! I am honored to be a part of so many important moments and spectacular celebrations. I hope you enjoy seeing some of my favorites from 2014, and am happy to say that I will continue to blog throughout the year (yes, for real!). I love creating photos together with all my clients and am excited to share more of them with you, so be sure to check back here for new posts!
What an exciting year its been! I’m so honored to have met so many amazing people and to have been a part of so many important moments and fun celebrations. I want to thank all of my clients for making it possible for me to make a living doing what I love. I’m proud of the photos we’ve made together this year and I want to wish you all a happy 2014! It looks like 2014 will be my 5th consecutive year with over 40 weddings and in addition to my resolution to hit the gym more regularly, I’m resolving to blog more consistently this year. My last blog post before this one was a 2012 Highlights post early in the year so I’m excited to show highlights that you may be seeing for the first time. Best wishes to everyone in the new year. I hope to see you soon!

I had the pleasure of shooting 49 amazing weddings and dozens of portrait sessions in 2012. This post features a few of my favorites from the year as well as some personal shots mixed into the bunch. With so many weddings and with an overwhelming 75-100 thousand images to choose from, I had to make my selection process quick and do my best to show a bit of variety and avoid showing too many similar photos of couples snuggling.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope you’ll leave me some feedback and check back in to see some of the exciting shoots I’ve already got lined up for 2013 with one of the best wedding photographer in Essex ! I feel like the luckiest guy in the world to do what I love for a living and owe a huge thanks to everyone who has supported me with referrals and patronage over the years. Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by. I’d love to hear your feedback! If you want to see more, click here to visit my 2011 highlights.
Luke and Madeline’s December 29, 2012 wedding was my 49th and final wedding of 2012. It was the first wedding I’ve photographed while it snowed. The snow didn’t stick but the flakes fell hard during the pre-ceremony portraits and we took advantage! The guys got ready at one of the groomsmen’s condos on Demonbreun and we made a pit-stop at Tin-Roof before heading over to Scarritt-Bennett. The reception was held at Houston Station and it was a great party with a big band!
