Jenn and Matt live in Pennsylvania but held a small destination wedding at Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville. The event was coordinated by Angela Proffitt and as usual she completely transformed the reception area into something amazing. The tables at the reception encircled a fountain and there was a canopy of green above them. We were in the carriage house and yet it felt like a Tuscan dinner party.
Melissa and AJ live in Canada and because they love country music they decided to have a small destination wedding in Nashville. They had only 12 guests but despite the intimate nature of the wedding, they really went all out with an extremely beautiful ceremony in the Opryland Hotel, a party bus took all of the wedding guests to downtown Nashville for photos, and the reception featured a photobooth, toasts, dancing and even a carriage ride at the end of the evening.
Lee Ann and Jay were married on December 8, 2012 at Belle Meade Plantation. It was a pretty rainy day but with umbrellas in hand we still had a chance to explore a good bit of the property. We found shelter under balconies, under trees, and in the carriage house. The ceremony was beautiful and the Atlanta Allstars performed at the reception and kept the dance-floor packed until the bride and groom made their big exit.
Murfreesboro, TN offers some really great photography locations including Stones River Battlefield, Cannonsburg, and the Greenway. When I got together with the Nichols family, we took advantage of all 3 of these locations and got nearly 300 photos!
