Beautiful Day for a Belle Meade Plantation Wedding

Matthew and Spenser were married on Memorial Day Weekend.  They were the first of two weddings that I photographed that weekend and both of my weddings were at Belle Meade Plantation!  It was a very hot day and the cicadas were buzzing around everywhere but I’ve shot very few wedding parties that were in such good spirits.  We had a blast despite the heat and hiked all over the grounds to take advantage of everything the plantation had to offer.  I love the photographs of the bride and groom laughing! They decided to see each other before the ceremony which made for some great photos and allowed for us to do various shots with the wedding party all together so when shooting the bride and groom, I was able to get the rest of the wedding party to heckle them and make them laugh for me. It worked great! In the following shot, one of the groomsmen used a mocking voice to say “I want to be married to Matthew” and you see the great photos that came of it!
