Wedding at the Inn at Evins Mill

Christy and Jeremy were married on September 22, 2012 at the Inn at Evins Mill. This place was a real playground for photography. There were amazing textures, moss covered walls, waterfalls, an old mill, bridges, and the ceremony was set in front of a pretty pond. Since this wedding Jeremy has been deployed overseas with the military. Knowing that was coming up always adds a bit of pressure on the wedding day when I think about how many times he’ll be perusing the photos while he is away and feeling homesick.
The property is full of textured, weathered, and moss covered walls and a good mix of old and new buildings to explore!
The magic hour light was perfect!
The groom received a bottle of expensive bourbon as a gift and decided it would be fun to share it on the porch as a few of the groomsmen took turns giving toasts.
The guest were entertained by a great rootsy band with upright bass and mandolin during the reception but after the toasts the mics served as a bit of a karaoke set-up and Jeremy sang a country tune for Christy.
