Wedding at Carnton Plantation in Franklin | Shawn and Linda Claire

Shawn and Linda Claire were married on a beautiful Sunday in October at Carnton Plantation in Franklin, Tennessee. We spent most of the afternoon exploring the grounds for photos and even ventured into the nearby confederate cemetery as well as some beautiful fields and gardens. There was amazing golden afternoon light, a gorgeous sunset and even hot air balloons flying over during the ceremony.  With a day like this it would be hard to go wrong but I lucked out with an adventurous wedding party and we got to spend the afternoon laughing and having fun. I love my job! Sometimes its just too easy!

I couldn’t stop laughing at the way Shawn posed face-down in the grass for the above series! It was a difficult decision whether to show this version or the one where he was mangled in a really unnatural way.
A little tongue-in-cheek fashion shot above rocking the “bridal fruit”.  I thought they nailed it!
